Whatever your political views are, it's a pretty big deal that a woman had a real shot at being president, when 100 years ago, women couldn't even vote. I loved this quote from Hillary Clinton this morning on little girls and their freedom to pursue their own dreams. Whether that's being president, or a mom, or a doctor, or an artist (or a combination of all four).

The file is 8.5 x 11", and can be cut down to 8 x 10" for framing.

design | summer projects

Since I'm clearly awful at blog posts for various design projects of the graphic, lettered, and event styling variety, here's a big purge of a bunch of things I've created over the last three months. I'm always taking on new creative projects and would love to work with you! You can contact me here with a little bit about your project, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible!

PS these are not in chronological order because summer was kind of a blur, right?!

Event planning, styling, and calligraphy for my friend Anna's 30th birthday party.

Brand update and Squarespace design for Tami L Hagglund.

Logo design for Trina Monica, neon and black and white logo versions.

Logo design for JR Millar photography, gold and black and white logo versions.

Invitation for Hunts Point, Washington's annual town event, Clean Up Day.

Custom pieces for a friend's home. Acrylic paint on wood and Higgins Eternal Ink on paper.

And last, but not least, a few fun, personal projects I created for myself and for gifts. I'm always sharing these on my Instagrams – my personal account, @elizabethrolf and my business account, @elizabethlovespaper.

baby crew | seattle newborn photos

I first met Blakely over a year ago through my nanny mom and immediately loved her (and if you've met her, you probably say the same thing). She exudes joy and is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.

I was overjoyed when I found out she and her husband Matt were expecting. Blakely is one of those women who you just know was meant to be a mom. Seeing her with her baby boy, Crew, is so precious. She is absolutely in her element. I feel so thankful to have been able to capture these moments for Blakely and Matt. Here are a few of my favorites from their shoot.

travel | lahaina, hawaii

Last month I had an amazing opportunity to tag along on a vacation to Maui with my beloved nanny family. The only other time I had been to Hawaii was when I was nine months old, so needless to say my memories are a bit foggy/nonexistent.

Maui was such a beautiful island and revisiting these photos, I can't believe how blessed I am to have been there. I'll be forever dreaming about returning to those ombre waters and that warm breeze.

I didn't take nearly as many photos as I had anticipated. I spent too much time splashing in the ocean, laying in the grass, entertaining sweaty babies, and just being. From the few photos that I did take, here are some of my favorites.
