Hi, my name is Elizabeth.
Born and raised in Seattle, I don't remember a time I didn't feel a desire to make things. Some of my earliest memories are illustrating stories my dad would transcribe for me. The summer I turned 18 I went to Paris and it was there, while taking in the Musee D'Orsay, that I realized art was what I wanted to do with my life.
It was fall of that year I also discovered people were using beautifully drawn letters to make art. As someone who already prided themself on penmanship, this opened a new, exciting place in art for me.
I dove headfirst into the world of hand lettering while also beginning to do blog design (shoutout to MySpace for all the HTML practice). And the rest, as they say, is history.
Other things about me: I love a good dance party, especially if it's with mid-2000s jams, I've seen every episode of Friends at least three times, I can wiggle my right ear and put on lipstick while driving—but not both at the same time, obviously.
